It may take you by surprise to find that yes, psychic predictions can be wrong and any psychic or medium worth their salt will tell you this. There are many reasons why a psychic prediction may not come true but that doesn’t mean you’ve got yourself a terrible psychic. Free will, fate and destiny
Many people assume that free will and fate contradict each other and you have to believe in either one or the other. However, free will and fate actually work together to enable us to reach and achieve our true destiny.
All of us have a predetermined fate that is destined to come true. This fate allows us to predict some of the big events in our lives such as who we will marry or what career we will eventually have. Our intuition and our spirit guides gently nudge us in the right direction so that we fulfill our destiny. However, every single one of us possesses free will and we can choose to take any path we want.
The fact that we have free will means that we can ignore our intuition and spirit guides and take a different path to the one that they suggest for us. This means that we can end up taking “the long road” on our path to our predetermined destiny. Fate always finds a way but it is up to us to choose which way we go.
What does this mean for psychic predictions?
When we receive a psychic reading, the medium can see what path we’re currently on and what will happen if we choose (of our own free will, remember) to stay on this path. So if you receive a prediction that you will meet your soulmate and get married within the next year, that is the path that you are currently on. However, you could stray off this path due to the decisions you make and this prediction may not come true. It’s not that the medium got your reading wrong, they just saw what was going to happen in the future from that particular moment.
It’s also worth noting that your future partner also has free will and they may have made some decisions that caused a delay in your future nuptials. That doesn’t mean you won’t end up together; it just means it might not happen in the timeline set out by your psychic reading.
Changing your psychic predictions
Many people use psychic readings as a way to identify what path they’re currently on. If they get a prediction that they don’t like, they can change their path and take control of their destiny. Predictions are not set in stone and many factors and decisions can influence them. For example, if you and your partner are having relationship troubles and your psychic reading predicts the demise of your relationship, all that’s really telling you is that, on your current path, the end result will be the end of the relationship. However, by acknowledging that and changing your behaviour and decision making, you can set yourself on a new path with a different outcome.
