Death
We’ve spoken previously about how you should never fear the Death Card and whilst drawing this card doesn’t mean that someone is about to die, it can signal the death of a relationship. That’s because the Death Card signifies a change or the end of an era which could be a relationship coming to an end.
Whilst we may be scared of change, sometimes it’s for the better and once we’ve come out the other side, we realise that it was meant to happen. Everything happens for a reason and whilst we may mourn the ending of a relationship, we have to accept that it just wasn’t meant to be.
Ten Of Swords
The imagery of the Ten of Swords card suggests pain, drama and perhaps betrayal. Whether there’s been infidelity in the relationship or a pattern of behaviour that is leaving one or both parties unhappy, it may be time to reevaluate the relationship.
No one should stay in an unhealthy relationship but it can be hard to face facts that the union simply isn’t working. You might have known it for some time but it still takes bravery and courage to do the right thing.
Five of Pentacles
Drawing the Five of Pentacles can signify a separation. This may be only a slight change or it could mean a total separation in your relationship. Whether this is permanent or not is up to you and your partner. Loneliness is also associated with this tarot card which can indicate that someone has withdrawn attention and affection and left the other person out in the cold, feeling unloved. If you can address this and work on your relationship there’s no need for you to go your separate ways – but you both have to want to.
The Reversed Magician
The Reversed Magician can indicate that an unstable personality may be at the root of your relationship, which can manifest itself in mood swings and violent tempers. Maybe you or your partner are not being entirely truthful with each other and haven’t been honest about what your intentions are. A relationship needs to be built on stability, trust and honesty. Otherwise it will never work. If you can be truthful with each other you could work on establishing a solid relationship. But if not it’s best to go your separate ways now before someone gets really hurt.
Tower
Drawing the Tower card can mean there are a lot of disputes and some turmoil present in your relationship. Maybe it’s been there all along or something unexpected has happened. Confronting these changes is the only way to truly see whether your relationship will last. If you can deal with the changes and roll with them that’s fantastic. But both participants have to make peace with them otherwise it won’t be a happy relationship. Sometimes a shake up can add energy into a relationship but other times, it can spell the end.
Tarot can be a powerful tool to help you see what’s in store for your life. But remember, nothing is set in stone and it’s all about interpretation. You have free will and you can steer your life in the direction you want.
I got death and tower and also hanged man also reversed lovers so often the entire 3 and a half years i was with my ex….we’ve only just broken up the last month… so the cards were right…. now I still get death which makes alot of sense as my love has changed alot now i am single – but has changed for the better as the releationship was very abusive specialy towards the end hence why i ended it…. Much happier now…but yep the cards were 100% accurate.
Hanged man – relationship that just frozzed. Revised two of cups, reversed lovers, reversed 2 of cups and 3 of cups, reversed 7 of wands I have all experienced personally with brake up cards. Empress reversed too.
Eight of cups. Means growing weary, tired of something and walking away.
Also seven of swords. Could be sneaking around going on or a person running away from a problem relationship and going it alone. This card also showed up for me as an outcome card when doing a reading for myself a few years back as my last long-term relationship was coming to a close.
